This website began with my passion to produce healthy, delicious meals for the most important people in my life, my family. After intense studying and research, I was able to figure out what the healthiest variety of wheat was, and I began baking with it. I quickly realized that there was a huge lack of recipes using Einkorn wheat. I began experimenting with Einkorn and I soon realized that I needed to share my recipes with the world.
Meet the Chef
Hi, my name is Grace, and I am the creator of the recipes for All Things Einkorn. I am a single mom of 4 fabulous, crazy, lovable, kiddos. I absolutely love to cook, which as it turns out, is a necessary requirement for this particular job! My other hobbies include reading, homeschooling my kids, horseback riding, hunting, being a mom, and just living life in general. I first learned about Einkorn wheat when I came up with the completely irrational idea to grow wheat in my back yard garden. I decided that if I was going to go through all the work to grow my own wheat I might as well make sure I was growing the healthiest variety of wheat available. That is when I discovered Einkorn. Also, was I successful in growing Einkorn wheat? No, no, I was not. So instead, I decided to stick to cooking with it and began using it to create fabulous, nutritious, delicious recipes and here we are!
What Sets My Recipes Apart
When I began baking with Einkorn wheat I scoured the internet searching for recipes with fresh ground Einkorn using something other than processed cane sugar to sweeten the desserts. I soon learned that those kinds of recipes were almost nonexistent, so I went to my kitchen and began creating the healthy, nutritious baked goods that I felt comfortable feeding my family. After creating multiple dishes, I realized that they deserved to be shared with the world and my website, All Things Einkorn, was born.
